Strawberry Girls

Strawberry Girls focuses on the skyline, shapes, and patterns I felt exploring other cities. It was an especially hot day, and I spent it sitting in the shade, comparing the outlines and shapes that differ to other places in the world. Each city has it's own unique palette and shadows, and I chose to explore this particular scene using high contrast colors and tile-like shapes that reminded me of my experiences eastward.–Artist statement
