Lake Washington 23

This is from my Anableps series with images of micro-level nature scenes. I explore the surface tension of water in an attempt to reveal the beauty and the mystery when light meets water in a local natural setting. To capture the images, the under-water camera is placed on the water in revers, creeks and lakes using the perspective from the surface, like Anableps, the so-called four-eyed fish that can see above and below the surface simultaneously. –Artist statement
