A Tight Rope Gathers No Slack

Peggy Hitchcock, an Ohio-born artist who has resided in Seattle since the early 1980s, packs an amazing amount of activity into the relatively tiny framework of enamel on steel.  Using stylized forms, the artist surrounds her figures with an intense array of patterning and decoration.
